Domicile Properties Review

It's just weeks after moving into a new house.  I have a toddler and a full time job.  So, it takes something truly amazing to make me want to write a yelp review instead of snuggle into bed.  And, Domicile Properties is truly amazing.  We found them through these Yelp reviews, so I guess we owe it to the Yelp community to add our 2-cents.

My partner Anthony and I are now first-time homeowners thanks to the incredible staff at Domicile.  There was a point there when I forgot that Shane Ray and I weren't best friends because we spoke everyday and he advised me on everything from the quality of hardwood floors to potential elementary schools for my daughter to how to manage mortgage finances. Patty and Julie, the super senior sages at Domicile, were available day and night, week days and week nights.  As newbies to this experience, we really needed experienced and professional people to help us through the process, literally educating us on every aspect of real estate.  From the moment that we met them, we knew that this team was far beyond the type of real estate agents that might encourage you to buy a place that isn't quite right.  They are working for lifelong relationships, not sales. And... when we decide that we are ready to sell a home or friends/family need a recommended agent, we will go back to Domicile. So, in the end, being really good at your job and leaving even the most cautious home buyer happy, is the best kind of business that you can have.

2hats Consulting Review

I am a small business owner (chiropractor in downtown Berkeley) and am always looking at how I can make my business more successful. Not only do I want to earn more money, I want to serve more patients, offer them a better experience, and have good "operations" within my business.
I just hired 2 Hats Consulting and John was incredible at asking the right questions to quickly identify what was most important to me, what my goals were, and where I needed to put attention to improve my business (and my life!).

He's easy to talk to because I get the sense that he cares about me, and about making the world a better place, but more than that, he's really knowledgeable about business management. Every time a new topic would come up, from staffing, to internet marketing, to commercial real estate purchases, he would instantly have something invaluable to say. I wish I'd recorded our sessions because my written notes just couldn't capture it all.
Basically, John is the answer to your business consulting needs. If you're interested in how your business could be thriving beyond where it is now, give this man a call.

Webify Lab Review

Gina is awesome and she R-O-C-K-S!
I would highly recommend using her online marketing services. I have found them to be essential. I don't have time to endlessly post ads or  figure out what the latest, greatest social marketing site is.  I'm too busy running my business!
Gina has been designing and maintaining my websites for years. Whatever my newest hair-brained scheme was, she made it come to life via the internet.  The couple of times i've tried to do it myself...I just end up coming back to her. She always tells me "Well, it's not so bad...I can fix it..." I already know we're gonna scrap the whole thing... I think she was trying to make me feel better! LOL! =)
Her rates are always reasonable and makes you feel that your business is important to her, as it is to you. Once she said to me "If you're phone isn't ringing, then mine won't either! I gotta get you clients so you can keep paying me!" Gina, I'm totally okay with that. Money well spent!

Casello Webworks Review

I was previously using a template-based design for my small business web site, but it needed a severe upgrade last year.  Jamie taught me a ton of useful information about search engine optimization (SEO) and I realized that a WordPress-based site would be ideal for my business.
I had gone through two graphic designers who loved creating fancy splash pages and cool-looking Flash pages for my site.  But Jamie explained that Flash sites are SEO killers.  Casello Webworks took my existing colors and logo, and designed a clean, professional site that is easy to use, and most importantly, has increased web traffic and search engine rankings for me.
Managing the site is simple, and to be able to make my own updates (without having to pay a designer to do so) is great, and extremely cost-effective.
Jamie was great to work with, went above and beyond in helping me set up a few extra pages and features on the site, and has been available for questions whenever I had them in the year since my new site went live.
Highly recommended for anyone who needs a clean, professional site that works, and can be found on Google, Bing, or other search engines.  Pricing was very competitive, and WAY better than forking over a few grand for a Flash site with fancy graphics that no one would ever see.

Steve Padis Jewelry Plus Enterprises Review

My then-fiance (now husband) is a very creative guy, therefore it was only natural that he wanted to design my engagement ring. He spent a long time researching diamonds, settings, and jewelers. He visited both the Jewelry Center and the Gift Center/Jewelry Mart and talked to many people about custom designs. He ultimately went with Steve Padis because the man gave him a GREAT deal.

Because my husband is so awesome, he got to sift through their diamonds (which they normally don't allow), and hand-pick the ones he wanted for both the engagement ring and wedding band (yes, he designed a band to match!). He worked closely with Maria (who was AMAZING and so patient), who served as a liaison between my husband, Steve, and the jeweler who would be hand-making the rings. There was a lot of negotiating involved, but the diamonds on my rings are better quality than those you will find at Tiffany/Cartier/etc - for a very, very, VERY small fraction of what those stores would sell.
The result? Two beautiful, sparkly, one-of-a-kind rings on my finger, with a hearts-and-arrows center stone. I'm so lucky.
